BB World BlackBerry Repair Centre – Terms & Conditions

 

Please read the following.  By placing your order for a BlackBerry repair, it is deemed you have agreed to these terms & conditions.

  1. I will be responsible for sending my device to the BB World Repair Centre via an insured delivery method (Royal Mail Special Delivery is recommended) and will obtain reference numbers & tracking numbers to provide proof of delivery if lost by Royal Mail.
  2. I understand that during the repair process the unit may revert back to its factory settings which may cause a loss of data and/or the unit to revert back to being locked to its original network.  BB World cannot be responsible for the unlocking of mobile phones and a separate fee may be charged for that.  As a result, I will backup all data on my device that I wish to keep.  BB World is unable to backup any data itself.
  3. I understand that BB World is not responsible for the loss or damage of any additional accessories, for example, phone cases or SIM cards.  Therefore, I will remove all SIM cards, cases, memory cards etc from my phone so only the unit itself is sent.
  4. I understand that if my phone is discovered to be stolen or barred then the unit will be returned without repair and a handling fee of £10 will still be charged plus all relevant postage costs to return the unit.
  5. Liquid damage repairs may take longer than expected due to the nature of the damage caused and the repair requirements.
  6. BB World will repair the problem that is stated by the customer.  Any additional faults will be quoted for separately and may need to be repaired for the original repair to be completed.
  7. The BB World Repair Centre possesses all chargers and batteries for all BlackBerry devices, therefore these do not need to be sent by the customer.
  8. Please note that any returns on repaired items must be brought to BB World’s attention within a week of the device being repaired.
  9. Water damaged devices have a 14-day warranty starting from the point of the device being returned to the owner.
  10. Any repair to your device has a warranty of 90 days – BB World will repair the device for free if the same fault occurs as before.  This excludes faults relating to accidental or physical damage.
  11. Failure to collect and pay for any devices that have been repaired 90 days from completion will result in the devices becoming property of BB World and may be sold.
  12. Repair orders are non-refundable once the device has already been sent by the owner.
  13. The delivery cost at checkout covers the cost of  BB World returning the repaired device by insured, recorded delivery.
